You will be picked up by our Driver/Guide and start your safari, Proceed to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with Picnic Lunch.
Once inside the park, you'll see the eponymous Tarangire river lined with acacia and Baobab where game amble to and fro throughout the day. During the dry season, thousands of animals from the Masai steppe migrate to the Tarangire region looking for water so you can see dozens of different species in a small amount of time.
Exclusive to the park are endangered animals such as the Greater Kudu, Fringe-Eared Oryx, and the Ashy Starling.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park's picnic areas and take in an unparalleled view of the Tarangire River. Keep an eye on your food though, as the local monkey population will be only too happy to make off with a tasty treat if given the opportunity!
After the excitements of the day, you will head for dinner and overnight at the accommodation of your choice.

After breakfast we will drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi.
Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall.
This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the 'Hadzabe'. The Hadzabe tribe (hunter-gatherer Bushmen) live close to the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe.
The visit to these tribes will include a visit to their homesteads, animal tracking; learn about their way of life, medicinal plants, and much more. There are quite a lot of wildlife and a wide range of bird species to be seen here and walks around the lake are easily arranged.

The bushmen rely on these techniques to survive and you'll need to be very attentive and at times quiet while they demonstrate their use of locally made poisons in incapacitating the poor creatures that keep our friends alive.

On your Ngorongoro Transit to Serengeti
The scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way, we'll pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to glimpse cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth.
It's a nearly four-hour drive to the Serengeti Park gates, but you can choose to break up the drive with one or both of the below optional activities at an extra cost:

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Mto wa mbu area for a cultural tour.
